Don't let your photography be the reason why your brand goes unnoticed!

I've learned from experience as a business woman and as a consumer that websites can make or break your entire business image. Not only that, but if you go to a website and it is not presentable you are very likely to lose a customer within a matter of seconds. So Imagine you have a stunning website and everything is exactly as you thought it would be and then your photos do not reflect your brand imagine. The images that you have on your website are just as important as the website itself. In fact, it ties it all together. The images in this post are all for a jewelry business named Keep Me Foreva.

Here are some reasons why it is important for you to invest in brand photography.

YOUR BRAND INCLUDES YOURSELF

It is VITAL that your about me page has high resolution images of yourself that are NOT selfie images. People want to know and see the person behind the brand. They want to see your style and get a good image of who you are, what you do, why and how it ties to the company they are looking to do business with.

Invest in having your photos taken by a photographer to give your image its best chance at reeling in customers. (I offer photography for this here)

First impressions are everything

When people first visit your website, if they are greeted with high quality and lovely images, they are likely to stick around and not close out your tab and continue searching for someone that better captures their attention. If they see low quality images, lack of personality, or off brand images they will definitely keep looking.

Be Consistent

When you have your photography done, make sure that it is a reflection of your brand, your website AND you! Make sure that your color scheme, fonts, social media and marketing are similar and consistent. Keep this in mind when you're picking out your clothing for your brand session.

If you pick a photographer, stick to the photographer if you like them. Every photographer has their own style that will help your brand and image to remain consistent throughout the years to come. If you decide you need to go with another photographer, try to find one that can continue to reflect the style that you want for your brand.

Connect With Clients

When you take your images make sure that you are showing your true self and brand. I stand by that you are a person before anything else. Showcasing yourself is only so that your clients can connect your brand to you so that they know who they are supporting. You want to attract your ideal client and make sure that you are representing the things that are important to them and YOU! The point is to connect your business with them through imagery. Use images to connect with your clients and let them know who you are and what you have to offer!
